The two plan an act of slow but painful revenge for the Parikh family and select their first victim. However, on the 25th birthday of Nayantara, when she was expected to get her Naagin power, Brinda (adopted daughter of Pandit Ji and Swara) got the power and became Naagin instead of her, it is revealed that Brinda is actually Manyata and Keshav's daughter, who has been swapped with Nayantara and the one who has taken Nayantara's form earlier, the gray Naagin who attacked Dev (son of Aakash and his wife Vrushali - one of the murderers) was Manyata. Manyata kills Manas (son of Khyati - one of the murderers) on the day of his wedding, but he is still alive and is in a coma. Dev falls in love with Brinda. Nayantara discovers Brinda is a Naagin and inform Manyata about it, but she refuses to let her know that Naagin is Brinda as she is Manyata's real daughter, not Nayantara. Nayantara turns negative and plans to kill Brinda. Vrushali discovers Manyata and Nayantara plan, Manyata reunites with Brinda. Vrushali has Brinda marry Dev.
